The XHP Hummer coilover conversion kit includes the highest quality components available for your H1 Hummer project. The entire kit has been engineered to optimize clearance and performance for your Hummer with options of standard blue King shocks or ADS options for your build.
The 4 wheel independent suspension system of a Military HMMWV or H1 Hummer is the most important feature that makes these unique vehicles perform soo well offroad. No only does the Hummer have an incredibly low CG but also a very low roll center and alot of suspension articulation. Our Bolt-on coilover system was designed to improve on not only performance but also the ride quality. Our system improves upon the strength and durability of the suspension system but also reduces the overall vehicle weight and significantly improves the suspension damping.
The CAD designed sheetmetal control arms and shock mounts are designed to work with custom King Coilover Nitrogen shocks that were spec’ed out by us and tuned for this application. It also includes heavy duty Baja style limit straps to protect the shocks from over-extension. All of the parts are Powder coated for corrosion protection and the kit includes Armor coated Grade 8 hardware for the entire system.
Our system requires higher wheel offset than the factory H1 and HMMWV wheels or spacer to clear the shock reservoirs. It also requires a minimum 2′ body lift. These are available upon request. The King kits include blue anodized shock components, but special colors can be requested separately to order for an additional charge.
